We are excited to share with you three counseling resources to provide support to families & children in our district:

Restorative Solutions Counseling provides Individual Counseling for Children, Adolescents and Adults; Family Counseling; and Couples Counseling.

LOCUST STREET RESOURCE CENTER (Carlinville, Carrollton, and Jerseyville) (accepts private insurance & sliding scale fee)

This service provides mental health and substance abuse outpatient treatment. Their main office is in Carlinville, with satellite offices in Carrollton and at Jersey Community Hospital. The office at JCH is located in the JCH Heart Center lobby. They are seeing patients in the Demuzio office and Demuzio Classroom. The phone number for the office is 618-498-6402 ext. 8290. The main number to Locust Street is (217) 854-3166 (referrals) or the 24/7 crisis assistance is (217) 854-3135.

Mental health counseling for adults and children includes:

Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Trauma, Schizophrenia, ADHD, Adjustment Disorder, etc.

Substance abuse program for adults and children includes:

Alcohol, Cannabis, Opioids, Amphetamines, Prescription Pain Medication, K2, Barbiturates, Cocaine, Tranquilizers, Inhalants, PCP, Mushrooms, Opium, Morphine, Methadone, etc.

Janice Donaldson, MSW, is the primary mental health counselor working with youth, adults, couples and families. She is at JCH on Tuesdays & Wednesdays from 8:30 am to 5 pm.

Ashley Mesey, BA, Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor is at JCH on Thursdays from 8:30 am to 5 pm and Fridays 8:30 to Noon. You can call Ashley at (217) 741-2730.

CENTERSTONE (Alton, IL) (accepts medical card)

Offers counseling, psychiatric and medical services, substance abuse treatment, and services for adults with developmental disabilities.

Services include:
